Job Title: Cashier
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for serving customers quality food products with fast, friendly service, and maintaining the restaurant in a clean and safe manner by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Stocks counters and displays refrigerators, neatly and accurately as per menu.*
- Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively as per standards.*
- Displays food under appropriate hot or cold conditions as per standards.*
- Completes cold food preparation assignment in a timely fashion.*
- Maintains appropriate portion control and merchandising standards.*
- Maintains proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.*
- Responsible for keeping display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service as assigned.*
- Cleans equipment and work station at end of each day.*
- Greets customers in a courteous and timely fashion.*
- Serves appropriate portion sizes as per standards.*
- Applies knowledge of daily menu items and explains same to customers accurately.*
- Serves food in a neat and attractive manner as per standards.*
- Relays relevant comments received from customers directly to management.*
- Adheres to all restaurant policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.*
- Reports problems or discrepancies to the management immediately.*
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.30 - $17.00 per hour
