FY23 Tier 3 Program Specialist - Milton Town School District seeks an individual with the following qualifications for our High School level students for the FY23 school year: Bachelor's level. Minimum of two years of experience delivering strategically structured instruction and/or remediation intervention programs in small groups or based on individual-level needs or has attained the necessary professional development to provide this level of instruction. Must be able to focus instructional efforts on the needs of students experiencing significant academic problems. Ensures students receive exposure to core content skills and have adequate time to remediate missing or weak skills.
Must demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training from a district special educator or Speech-Language Pathologist. Must meet Highly Qualified status. Pay starts at $19.85/hr. More depending on education level and experience.Performance Responsibilities1.
Deliver approved curriculum intervention at Tier 3 to the targeted population.2. Prepare materials aligned to state-recognized instructional cultures under the guidance of special educators, SLP, and/or student case managers to facilitate multi-level embedded instruction.3. Collaborate with special educators, speech-language pathologists, classroom teachers, guidance personnel, and instructional assistants to identify students' abilities to maximize learning opportunities.4. Provide ongoing support for Tier 3 instructional needs.5.
Assess student progress using formal and informal assessment tools.6.Demonstrates the ability and willingness to function as a K through 12th-grade employee.7.Demonstrate the ability to maintain multiple Tier 3 student data effectively.8.Maintain all levels of confidentiality. This includes students, personal, academic, medical, or family-related information.9.Willingness to obtain added training to increase student achievement. 10.professionally conduct themselves in every aspect of their position including maintaining cooperative relations and effectively inexact with Supervisors and other employees.11.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or their designee.
