Location: Livermore, CA - Candidate must come onsite 2 days per week (Tuesday & Wednesday).

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Build strong working relationships with business and IT stakeholders and ensure project support and commitment.
• Product ownership of budget and backlog delivery of enhancements and issue fixes.
• Define project scope, deliverables and roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders, business partners and project team members.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using a mix of project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. Create, monitor, and manage detailed project plan.
• Plan budgets for equipment, resources, and vendors.
• Participate in the development of cost benefit analysis, associated budgets and tracking of actual costs spent vs budget and regularly reporting on project status to management.
• Assign and monitor work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on time and within budget.
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, and manage project risks. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Manage stakeholder communications and approvals.
• Manage project related documentation like proposals, progress reports, requirements, and presentations.
• Plan and execute deployments, support handover of project and necessary trainings.
Qualifications:
• 4 year degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or relational functional field).
• 7-10 years of Project Management experience, with an Application Development or Technical Project Management background.
• Experience in Retail Systems projects is a plus. Experience in point of sale system, retail financial reporting, systems integration within a retail environment.
• Ability to understand technical solutions architecture, and processes and technical detail.
• Able to effectively translate technical topics and issues into business oriented language to more effectively escalate issues and discuss when required.
• Ability to do project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Tools (e.g. MS Project, Agile (Nice to have), SDLC, Confluence, JIRA, etc.) with knowledge of Project Management Disciplines.
• Ability to understand project planning and develop project timelines.
• Ability to understand client expectations and recognize and escalate issues that may affect delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across various groups, build relationships and manage effectively in a matrix organization.
• Strong customer service aptitude and ability to follow through to resolve customer issues.
• Knowledge of process evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components in line with an organization’s business needs.
