What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, eCommerce Analytics position at Mindshare?
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you will leverage Mindshare’s proprietary data solutions to meet our clients’ needs for data management and visualization. This position requires both a strategic and tactical viewpoint, aided by strong problem-solving skills, along with a basic understanding of digital and search marketing. The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate: hands-on skills in data analysis, processing, management, and visualization. Knowledge of third party retail platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, etc… is a plus.
YOUR IMPACT:
- Assist in the development of business intelligence platforms (Tableau) for data visualization and insight generation for use in campaign monitoring and optimization.
- Assist in the build and development of custom analytics/insight dashboards.
- Collect data requirements from client teams to assist in reporting builds.
- Help develop automated QA processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the retrieving, compiling, and formatting of large volumes of data.
- Own the measurement approach and KPI setting for third-party retail media
- Communicate findings to the performance marketing team and help them understand why change might be required to achieve a specific goal or to complete a project.
- Understand the client’s 3rd party retail objectives and be able to utilize data to present insights and opportunities to clients.
- Become the go-to person in regards to data-driven investment questions surrounding both Search and Display channels for third party retail platforms
- Actively contribute to Mindshare initiatives, automation projects, process changes, and roll-outs.
- Build, or assist in the crafting, POVs, standard methodologies, and key process documentation
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Advertising, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related fields, or equivalent professional work experience,
- Basic understanding of search or programmatic media (3rd party retail platforms a plus)
- Experience working with tools such as Tableau (or similar BI tools), Alteryx/Knime/Rapidminer or similar tools
- Expertise using PowerPoint and clearly articulating findings/ presenting solutions.
- Advanced excel skills
- Basic understanding of SQL, Python
- Preferred understanding of linear and non-linear regression
- Preferred experience with web-scrapping.
- Preferred experience in building and deploying predictive models.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment
