What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Head Start Teacher position at Mini Kampus?
Job position is full time. Must be able to work between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
An Associate Degree or or credits in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, or CDA is preferred. Essential functions and responsibilities: Implements all aspects of the Early Head Start Program in the classroom setting; prepares children by meeting program goals, objectives and outcomes. Ensures the development of readiness skills and meets the individual needs as determined through assessment, observation and parent input; preforms related duties as assigned; plans daily and weekly curricular activities through lesson planning; maintains clean, safe and healthy classroom environment; participates in training and in-service programs; compiles, prepares and submits information in a timely manner; maintains and follows all Early Head Start local, State and Federal regulations. Maintains a clean, safe and healthy classroom environment; participates in parent/teacher conferences and home visits; maintains certification, licensure and continuing education requirements; participates fully in all classroom activities, which may include, but not limited to bending, stooping, reaching and sitting on the floor.
