Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our HR department. This position is ideal for both current college students and recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources and contribute to the success of our team.
The HR Intern will be involved in various foundational tasks, including resume screening, interview scheduling, document and data organization and analysis, and creating PowerPoint presentations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with payroll tasks and process bi-weekly payroll.
- Assist in the recruitment process by screening resumes and applications.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with potential candidates.
- Maintain and organize HR-related documents and data.
- Analyze data to provide insights into HR processes and help improve efficiency.
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations for HR initiatives.
- Support the HR team in daily administrative tasks.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives that contribute to the overall goals of the department.
Qualifications :
- Currently enrolled in a college / university or a recent graduate, preferably with a focus on Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Public Administration or related fields.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Eager to learn and contribute to a team environment.
- Attention to detail, patience, and responsibility.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus but not required.
- Experience with ADP Workforce is a plus but not required.
Position Details :
This is a full-time internship requiring five days of on-site work per week, Monday to Friday, from 9 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM at our West Covina office
