WHO WE ARE

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community providing services to 740 clients civilly committed as sexually dangerous person or sexual psychopathic personality. Comprehensive services include sex offense specific treatment, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming, volunteer services, and health and wellness.

Our location in St. Peter, MN is seeking dynamic Assessment Psychologists to work on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of individuals who have been civilly committed as sexually dangerous persons or sexual psychopathic personalities.

With great support from a dedicated and experienced clinical management team, as well as support from our senior leadership team, you will:

  • Provide expertise in the specialized field of sex offense specific treatment, assessment, and research.
  • Conduct integrated psychological assessments including those related to psychosexual, mental health, personality, and/or cognitive/neuropsychological functioning.
  • Present information regarding psychological assessment results, treatment progress, and other pertinent clinical data to appropriate authorities.
  • Provide consultation to clinical staff to support client treatment direction and approaches.
  • Provide leadership and direction to clinical staff regarding the overall program treatment model and treatment process

Qualifications include:

  • Possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology; AND
  • Be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist by the Minnesota Board of Psychology (LP)*;
  • One (1) year of post-license experience and have knowledge and experience in assessments and integrated report writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $123,108.00 per year
