Together, we are on a journey where chasing greatness is constant and breaking new grounds is a norm.Position Summary/Objective: This position assists the Broadcast Production with various tasks under traffic and radio production including conducting interviews and delivering radio and TV spots for broadcasts. What would you do? Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform these essential functions: TRAFFIC 1.    Coordinate with internal/external parties in receiving, tracking, ingesting, and delivering radio and TV spots for broadcasts. 2.    Create traffic instructions within Microsoft CRM in relation to building/tracking/maintaining spots and daily logs 3.    Build and deliver daily TV and radio ‘broadcast logs’ to FSN and Wolves radio 4.    Communicate with corporate activation team, and internal radio team, in executing “production orders” from partners 5.   Create daily “live read/drop” documents to distribute to necessary parties for each broadcast 6.   Track and enter ‘timestamp’ data from broadcasts, generate affidavits for internal/external parties RADIO PRODUCTION 7.    Assist the executive producer in sound gathering, content creation, practice/shootaround coverage, storyline ideas, and additional elements related to pregame/postgame/ancillary radio programs  8.    Proficient in Adobe Audition, sound editing and similar production elements 9.    Familiarity with ‘sound board operation,’ firing automation, fading in/out of commercial breaks, etc. 10. Conduct occasional interviews with key voices throughout the organization, as well as external partners/clients 11. Assist the executive producer in coverage of ‘special-event’ press conference, executing both “technical” and “coverage” aspects, often on short-notice  This job description is not crafted to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Proficiencies or equivalent experiences:  1.     Strong written and verbal communication skills required. 2.     Knowledge of and experience working with Adobe Audition and Premiere is strongly preferred. 3.     Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is preferred. 4.     Experience meeting tight deadlines. 5.     Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. 6.     Ability to work well on a team and independently. 7.     Ability to manage specific processes and tasks in the department under supervision.  Experience: Minimum one (1) year working in Broadcast strongly preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast, Production or similar field, or equivalent experience preferred. Supervisory Responsibility, if any: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. In addition to working office hours staff are required to work Timberwolves and Lynx home and away games as well as external events including but not limited to: charity and networking events. Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena, which includes bleachers/steps as well as moderate to high levels of noise . Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move boxes of merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds. Travel Position may require travel to external events.
