Job Summary:
At Minnetronix, the Assembler 1s are a part of teams that manufacture electro-mechanical, software-based medical devices. The primary responsibilities of Assembler 1s is to install and attach electronic components within a device. Assembler 1s will also put materials together in order to pack devices for shipping.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and pack medical sub-assemblies and devices
- Adhere to specific procedures, documentation standards and directions relevant to the device
- Meet the standard work pace of the assembly or packing line while maintaining quality
- Identify assembly or device issues and report these issues to the cell lead
- Remain in compliance with general standards and procedures
- Provide continuous improvement suggestions
- Perform testing and calibration functions when applicable
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2-4 years training or job experience in the field of electronic assembly required
- Associate Degree in an applicable field preferred
- Strong attendance record and punctuality required
- Ability to read and accurately follow procedures required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Subject to Mandatory Overtime requirements based on business demands
