Minno is an early-stage, investor-backed media and technology company based in Nashville, Tennessee, focused on making life better for Christian families through media and technology. We're looking for a remarkable Executive Assistant to our CEO to help him scale Minno and foster thriving relationships within and outside of Minno.
Minno was founded just over two years ago by Erick Goss and Dan Raines. They recognized that most Christian parents were frustrated with their media options. The audience was looking for shows and streaming options that reflected their faith and values, designed specifically for kids. With a desire to provide the tools to delight and disciple the next generation of Christians, Minno was born.
In the short time we've been around, we have built a business experiencing significant year-over-year growth and whose staff has grown to more than 20 employees. Our team is composed of top executives from brand-name e-commerce and content companies.
Minno serves families through Minno Kids, an ad-free, streaming video app, our children's book publishing unit, and Minno Life (a parent resource site and home of the Raising Boys & Girls podcast). Minno is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst with experience in SaaS economics, and a passion for data-driven, repeatable, and rigorous analytics. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation for the e-commerce landscape and understands that style and statistics go hand-in-hand.
You’ll build actionable insights by studying user engagement/behavior and publishing your findings to real-time data dashboards; you’ll put those insights to work by collaborating with our Marketing, Product, Brand, and Content groups to design and launch experiments; and you’ll keep us agile by developing new metrics and custom reporting. If you’re an experienced analyst, with expertise in the e-commerce space and a desire to do impactful, visible work, we look forward to hearing from you.
You’re comfortable building reports from the ground up for new features & AB tests. You are familiar with various e-commerce platforms such as Stripe, Apple, Roku, or Shopify and are a self-motivated learner when it comes to exploring data visualization tools such as Tableau or data studio. Your goal is to discover performance opportunities within the subscription funnel and communicate your insights to the business, thereby influencing the strategic product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor site funnel metrics to discover traffic trends, click-through patterns, customer engagement, product performance, and purchasing patterns
- Design, develop and maintain reporting dashboards to tie those funnel metrics to Minno’s strategic business goals so that key trends are recognized and acted upon quickly
- Investigate product performance from a merchandise hierarchy perspective, in order to plan monthly merchandising category targets and to identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities
- Collaboratively design and execute statistically-powered A/B tests with tools like Google Optimize
- Monitor, measure and define metrics measuring business KPIs including LTV across the funnel
- Associate new features and products with conversion and retention-based metrics
- Address ad-hoc requests according to SLAs
- Document and share your work, and contribute to a culture of data rigor
Requirements:
- 3 years Professional Experience in Analytics/Business Intelligence
- Proficient in reconciling and reporting on data from many sources, including Stripe, Apple, Roku, Amazon, Segment, Braze, Google Analytics, and many, many more
- Experience with Python, Fivetran, Segment, DBT, Tableau, GA, or similar tools to transform and visualize data.
- Strong verbal, written, & presentation skills, with the ability to communicate advanced analytics to non-technical executives & cross-functional stakeholders.
