What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Coordinator position at Minto?
Purpose:
The Warranty Coordinator (MasterCare Coordinator) is responsible for providing customer service to homeowners in order to process all inquiries related to service, repairs or outstanding work.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work on-site, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- High School Diploma or College Degree preferably in Construction, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a customer service role.
- Strong organizational skills and experience with coordinating/scheduling
- Clear communicator with professional phone etiquette. Much of the day is spent on the phone communicating/coordinator with customers, vendors, and team members.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft office
- Proficient with Excell at a basic level minimum.
- Proficient with BuildPro or compatible scheduling software (highly desired)
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Provides exceptional customer service to our owners/clients.
- Schedules appointments for Pre and post close, Move-in through Year-End and Interim Inspections with homeowners. Coordinates schedules for MasterCare personnel and Minto trade partners
- Updates, tracks, controls and maintains customer care documents and files.
- Processes Customer Care work orders and purchase orders.
- Attends, via phone, weekly community meetings, updates notes generated during the meeting into the CEM document used to track and conduct this meeting. Provides input and feedback during this meeting on customers when needed.
- Responds to all telephone, e-mail and fax inquiries from Homeowners and trade partners regarding in warranty, and out of warranty issues; Manages phone calls in a positive and professional manner.
- Responds to all emergency calls during regular business hours, ensuring follow up and resolution for Homeowners, trades and MasterCare.
- Coordinates all repairs in model homes where and when necessary.
- Maintains efficient functioning of the office environment, maintains and orders office supplies.
- Composes letters and reports as requested.
- Provides Data entry.
- Exhibits and maintains the highest degree of professionalism in the performance of all related duties.
- Provides support and assistance to other departments.
- Will perform other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
Salary : $37,500 - $47,500
