Now hiring Extrusion Operators for a manufacturing company in Ravenna for 1st shift, 6am – 4:30pm.
Monday – Thursday
Weekly pay at $15 per hour.
The Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring rubber extrusion machinery.
Job Duties:
- Set up, operate, and monitor machinery including loading/feeding materials.
- Adjust machine temperatures as needed for corrections.
- Perform quality control inspections on products and use precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet the required specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and provide basic maintenance to alleviate downtime.
- Accurately record and document inspection/production results and submit to a supervisor at the end of each shift.
- Assist with Finishing by using various hand tools to remove excess materials from products.
- Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous Extrusion experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand precision measuring tools.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Great dexterity.
