For our MIR and AMMEGA Production team, we are currently looking for a
Heavy Rubber Belt Installer
As a Heavy Rubber Belt Installer, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of heavy-duty rubber conveyor belting and related industrial products. You will report to the Production Manager and be part of the Production team. In this role, you will be based in Kernersville, North Carolina.
A day in the life of a Heavy Rubber Belt Installer can look like
- Fabricating and installing heavy-duty rubber conveyor belting.
- Traveling to customer locations to install product – occasional overnight travel required.
- Processing orders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operating light industrial equipment.
- Communicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issues.
- Ensuring timely shipping of belting product.
- Receiving shipments in a timely manner and ensuring delivery to the correct recipient.
- Maintaining shipping/receiving department with needed supplies.
- Processing and maintaining reports.
- Recognizing appropriate inventory usage and reporting low levels. Maintaining cycle counts log and participating in yearly inventory.
- Projecting a professional and courteous demeanor when communicating with others.
- Maintaining a positive attitude towards work in the team environment.
We are looking for you to have
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least two (2) years of experience of heavy rubber conveyor belt installation work.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Position requires regular standing, reaching with hands and arms, and occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional nights and/or weekends.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. Must be able to read and understand a tape measure.
