Part Time:15-hrs a week 2pm - 7pm including every other weekend and holiday rotation required
How You Care for Our Patients
We are currently looking for Dietary Aide to perform various duties.
- Performs a variety of patient food service duties including working various positions:
- Delivering supplies and nourishment items to floors
- Working in dish room
- Put away stock items
- Assemble and serve patient meal according to patient diet
- Prepare salads, sandwiches and other cold food items for patient feeding using approved recipes and procedures including modified diets
- Prepare sliced meats using meat slicer
- Stocking and cleaning unit pantries, keeping temp logs, par level log.
- Assures that all products prepared in the cold production area are top quality.
- Maintains productivity and organization, and effectively multi tasks to assure that food service needs are met.
- Maintains cold production area and related storage areas including walk-in refrigerator, in a safe, sanitary condition.
- Always follows safe food handling procedures to assure food wholesomeness.
- Puts away stock in the storeroom and refrigerators, ensuring all items are dated and FIFO procedures are followed.

You Bring Meaningful Experience
Successful Candidate will have the following:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred. Simple math ability necessary in order to convert recipes.
- Requires a minimum of six (6) months but less than one (1) year in this or a related job.
- Completion of a Certified Food Service Sanitation and Allergy Awareness Course (ServSafe) required upon hire or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
- Ability to work from written recipes, instructions and schedules.
- Requires knowledge of therapeutic diets
