Job Summary
Mirbeau Inn & Spa is seeking an experienced Spa Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Spa. The ideal candidate is an intelligent and seasoned hospitality professional with outstanding management skills who possesses the right combination of passion, energy, drive and focus to create memorable experiences for our members and guests. Experience in a spa or similar environment is highly preferred.
Pay Rate: Starting at $58,500
Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee all Spa operations to including, but not limited to:
- Oversee Scheduling for Spa Desk and Spa Attendants.
- Assist in overseeing Spa Attendants that they are performing their jobs efficiently and correctly.
- Process weekly payroll for all spa employees.
- Responsible for the Hiring of new Spa Desk Staff and Spa Attendants.
- Oversee payroll efficiencies on a weekly basis, making sure we are in line with budget and revenue.
- Manage and assist with all spa staff trainings and monthly meetings.
- Ensure adequate coverage is provided based on treatments booked and predicting treatment pickup.
- Assist all staff with questions on products and procedures.
- Stay current on the latest thinking pertinent to the department and become well-versed and trained in its application.
- Oversee back of house inventory including guest amenities, operational supplies, and all professional treatment product.
- Process and manage Purchase Orders for all Spa operations.
- Promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with all departments.
- Schedule will include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
- Attend regular meetings as directed by Spa Director or General Manager.
Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in hospitality - preferably within a Resort setting
- Flexible schedule, ability to work mornings, afternoons, or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be enthusiastic, motivated, and a team player.
- Must possess computer proficiency with Windows-based products.
- Must have outstanding experience delivering high-quality customer service.
- Display good organizational, written, and verbal skills.
