About the Role:

Mission Lane is seeking a strategic and growth-minded leader with Fraud experience to join our team.  This associate will lead our Enterprise Fraud program across all aspects of Fraud Strategy, Analytics and Operations including: KYC, Identity Fraud, Transaction Fraud, Payment Fraud and Authentication.  We are in growth mode, the ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated by the opportunity to move fast, innovate and dramatically scale our Enterprise Fraud program. Your impact:

• Define and execute our long-term Fraud strategy to enable and support our rapid growth; establish Fraud as an innovative center of excellence for risk management
• Lead and inspire a team of Analysts and Operations associates; grow the team, recruit top talent and stay ahead of organizational needs
• Work closely with other leaders across the organization to understand the current state and identify opportunities to improve economics, customer experience, risk, and efficiency
• Continuously analyzing current business and operational data and processes to identify improvement opportunities. Learn fast and act like an owner by proactively seeking out information and solving complex problems

Talents You Bring to the Team:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
• 7+ years experience in the area of Fraud Analytics and Operations within a financial institution
• Direct experience with Application and/or Transaction Fraud strategy and defenses
• Experience leveraging fraud risk models and specialized data sources to defend against fraud
• Proven ability to manage and develop associates across different skill sets
• Motivation to seek the truth, understand the ‘why’, and hypothesize the solution
• Comfort and desire to push your skill edge, lean into development and always seek to learn
• Ability to communicate and influence effectively with executive leadership
• Desire to be a champion for the customer
• Ability to pivot and change directions quickly, as we are a startup that is constantly moving and innovating

Bonus points:

• Direct experience with Credit Card Fraud strategy
• Expertise within Synthetic and Ring Fraud defenses 
• Experience building Fraud models using advanced analytic and modeling tools (Python, R, SAS, etc...)
• Prior experience in leveraging innovative technologies (e.g. machine learning, robotic processes and automation) to solve business problems
