This opportunity is part of our Global Services Organization, which helps customers manage test instruments and find ways to maximize their asset usage, streamline their engineering operations, and achieve lower costs. With service centers in over 30 countries, the Global Services team is a people intensive, local business.

This is role for a key individual who will work full time at our facility in Nashua, NH and some customer sites in Nashua NH, performing calibration on a wide range of manufacturers equipment and products.

Responsibilities:

o Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting of Test & Measurement electronic equipment at our service center or at our customer's sites.

o Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required.

o Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on company and non-company products

o Install software and firmware upgrades that may include re-image of the customer’s instrument.

o Utilize strong computer skills including automated Calibration Systems, Microsoft Office and other applications.

o Understand, and utilize STE, TME, and PC based calibration software as required.

o Work and adhere to quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025 quality program.

o Assist in maintaining the Calibration team’s accreditation through participation in proficiency testing, quality measure assurance programs, and applicable training.

o Use excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interface with customers and peers.

o Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers' and company test equipment assets.

o Ensure compatibility between customer expectation and support provided by company.

o Work on service assignments with clearly defined objectives

Requirements:

o Must have calibration service experience of all types of Test Equipment to include RF/ Microwave skills to 50 GHz.

o Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics.

o Must be knowledgeable of current quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025.

o Requires ability and desire to learn system/automated calibration software.

o Ability to calibrate instruments both manually and using automated test procedures.

o Must have calibration service experience of all types of Test Equipment.

o Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) a plus.

o Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.

o Must be flexible and capable to work in a changing priorities environment to meet strict performance metrics.

o Understand project timeline, goals and processes and take the lead to complete those requirements.

o Be able to interface and take the lead between the customer and company to solve complex project objectives.

o Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills.

o Must be able to pass a Secret Level Security Clearance Screening As part of employment.

o Candidates must be in local area (Nashua, NH) or willing to relocate themselves

o Must have ability to lift 50 lbs.

o Able and willing to work overtime as needed.

o 3-6 experience required

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime
