Overview: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive guest experience. Responsibilities: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome - Escort guests to their tables and provide menus - Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests - Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu items, and promotions - Answer phone calls and make reservations - Manage waitlist during peak hours - Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organization - Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service - Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly - Process guest payments using the POS system (Aloha POS) Requirements: - Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Exceptional phone etiquette and guest service skills - Knowledge of proper guest relations etiquette - Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
