Overview
Greet visitors and customers coming into the office and direct them to their necessary appointments. Answer and assist telephone calls while performing daily required duties. Assist Safety Department coworkers and as needed at the Ste. Genevieve facility.
Requirements
High school diploma plus advanced clerical skills required. Associates Degree is preferred.
Previous experience working in the mining industry preferred.
Safety experience preferred.
Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
MSHA Safety training instructor certification preferred.
Proven ability to handle confidential information in professional manner.
A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to build relationships, communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions
Greet visitors to the plant and direct them to appointments. Issue and maintain safety equipment and conduct hazard training as required.
Issue gate badges for all visitors and employees.
Direct all internal and external office telephone calls to appropriate personnel.
Provide safety data management support as needed throughout the company.
Assist with scheduling New Miner, Annual Refresher and other safety training.
File all employee training certificates.
Maintain Rx eyeglass files for all employees.
Maintain inventory for Safety Department first aid supplies.
Schedule Safety Department fleet vehicle use and coordinate maintenance service, as needed.
Responsible for coordinating maintenance on all front desk equipment as necessary.
Order supplies for office personnel; maintain supply inventory and monitor budget expenses and report discrepancies to HR Manager.
Process all incoming and outgoing mail.
Schedule UPS shipments.
Provide clerical support to other departments as time permits.
Schedule MLEAA Park reservations.
Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities, as needed.
