Position Objective:
Primary focus will be management of the Proposal and Request for Proposal (RFP) submission process to include the review of client RFP documents along with coordination, production, quality assurance, and submission of the completed response while maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Heavy emphasis on working with Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to lead an organized and competitive response to RFP's from beginning to end, including RFP presentations to our prospective clients.
- Analyze incoming RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and prepare answers.
- Close new business opportunities with existing client base.
- Establish positive and long-term client relationships by staying in communication with clients.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Prepare and lead business review discussions with clients.
- Develop and present sales presentations to current clients to demonstrate the company's experience and qualifications.
- Represent the company at site visits and walkthroughs for contract and specialty jobs, as needed.
- Support the achievement of branch annual sales and profit objectives.
- Become knowledgeable of current clients to support renegotiation of expiring contracts.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans and regional management activities including the documentation of all information into our CRM.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors, industry trends and company services.
- Attend conferences and trade shows as required.
- Manage Sales Specialist position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years of service sector and/or government industry experience.
- Experience in project management and proposal writing/editing.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Proven and documented track record of securing business through RFP submission.
- Exceptional client focus and presentation skills.
- Ability to present and influence customer and internal management.
- Excellent leadership skills that foster teamwork and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent detail orientation and strong written and verbal communication abilities
Compensation:
Mister Kleen is offering a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $115,000 (depending on experience), including a benefits package with medical, dental, vision, life, and short- and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with a 401K Savings Plan.
