What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dentist position at MIT?
DENTIST, MIT Health, to provide dental care to adult and pediatric patients. Will assess patient dental health status through interview and physical exam and synthesize this clinical information to formulate diagnosis, develop a plan of care and treatment, implement the treatment plan, and evaluate follow-up strategies according to age-specific plans of care; and provide dental health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Dental as well as across the MIT community. Dental work will be done in accordance with MIT Dental policies as well as state and federal rules, regulations, and standards of care.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school; current card in basic life support (BLS); valid MA license, MA CSR, and federal DEA; ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to patients and staff; experience with computer systems, Dentrix Enterprise web-based applications, and some Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).
