SHOWROOM MANAGER

How will you contribute?

The Showroom Manager reports to the General Manager. You will partner with the General Manager to support in the supervision, coaching and training of the sales staff while maintaining an environment of exceptional luxury service. This will be accomplished by ensuring our sales team has proper sales support and product knowledge training needed to provide superior customer service and effectively close sales.

  • Provide leadership and direction for sales staff by inspiring, motivating and encouraging teamwork to consistently provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Utilize company reports to react to trends and drive business. Partner with the General Manager to implement sales strategies and ensure successful metrics (KPI’s) are achieved.
  • Lead the Design Associates to a successful sale through in-the-moment coaching and assisting with the close of the sale, when needed.
  • Be an expert in MG+BW's product assortment and provide product knowledge training to the sales team. 
  • Partner with the local warehouse to consistently provide a successful in-home delivery experience.
  • Assist with physical inventory, cycle counts and receiving purchase orders.
  • Maintain store appearance and ensure visual standards are met.

What you need to succeed?

Showroom Manager candidates should have a drive for success and desire to learn and grow. Hours for this position will require flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, holiday and occasional 6-day work weeks.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous retail management experience in a high-end or luxury retail store.
  • An eye for interior design and passion for helping people create beautiful homes.
  • Problem solver and highly organized with strong leadership and multitasking abilities.
  • Excel at providing a one-of-a-kind customer experience through your energy and customer engagement.
  • Communicate clearly and adjust your style to fit your audience. You are as comfortable picking up the phone as you are sending an email.
  • Work well under pressure and easily overcome challenging situations.
  • Pick up technology quickly and navigate easily through CRM, POS systems, spreadsheets and other computer-based systems.
  • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support for alarms and emergencies.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
