Location: Full-time, Onsite in Palo Alto

Responsibilities

• Technical: Development of Android chat application, ensuring it’s efficient, scalable, and polished.
• Code Excellence: Write, review, and maintain high-performance Kotlin and Java code.
• Product Vision: Collaborate closely with the product, design, and engineering teams to influence product direction and functional requirements.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies, ensuring our application always leverages the best available tools and practices.
• Mentoring: Foster a collaborative environment, guiding and mentoring junior developers, ensuring team-wide growth and cohesion.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of professional software development experience, with 2 years in Android development experience.
• Extensive experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing complex mobile applications with a user-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with chat or messaging applications and or working on consumer facing applications.
• Significant contributions to open-source Android projects or community.
