Accountant

We are seeking a full-time experienced Accountant to become an important part of our fast-growing and dynamic auto recycling company. In this role, you will be responsible for affiliated core company’s financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts, cash disbursements, fixed asset ledgers and other financial assets. Salary commensurate with experience level and skill set, benefit package including generous 401-k plan, PTO, and insurance coverage.

Accountant Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Handle the company’s transactions and prepare cash flow forecasting

· Assist with the company’s external financial reporting including consolidation and combination packages

· Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives

· Monitor and analyze financial accounting data

· Create financial reports based on data analysis

· Prepare daily cash account reconciliations and other cash management techniques

· Work closely with corporate team to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation

· Manage the production of weekly/monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts to actual results

· Analyze, apply, and improve policies, procedures, controls, and most methodologies

· Strong technology and communication skills, working knowledge of Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office (Excel proficient)

· Excellent attention to detail

· Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

· BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

· Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

· 4 years of progressive accounting experience

· Past work in technology, analytics, and management experience highly valued

· Deep understanding of Financial Statements analytics

· Budget forecasting experience a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
