N124 seeks passionate technical domain engineer that isn't afraid to lead a task or country or challenge current business operations. This individual should also be prepared to get their hands wet by delivering high quality technical products that supports solving multi-faceted international challenges impacting the US and coalition mission effectiveness. This role requires 15% of travel. Responsibilities: * Identify and apply Digital Engineering (DE) practices, methods, and tools to address our sponsor and partners' most pressing challenges.
* Apply knowledge and principles of acquisitions, architecture design, system integration, risk assessment/management, and other systems engineering disciplines to support recommendations to address customer challenges.
* Collaborate within MITRE and relevant partners to contribute to greater practice of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and DE across the enterprise.
* Conduct in depth research the current and future needs of our customers
* Reach across the company to bring the best of our technology and innovation to our customer solutions
* Develop technical papers and presentations that can communicate such activities as architecture designs, Analysis of Alternatives, informational presentations, and technical analysis.
* Lead a team to execute systems engineering activities and/or technical analysis
* In coordination with work leader, assist in developing work proposals that align with customers and sponsors needs Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience.
* Possesses or has ability to obtain and hold a SECRET clearance.
* Interest or experience in multi-disciplinary complex problem solving.
* Technical skill and capability with an interest towards pushing the state of art into the state of practice.
* Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and digital engineering practices (e.g., SysML, BPMN, UML, UAF, DODAF, MODAF).
* Previous work involving modeling, simulation, experimentation and/or prototyping.
* Previous experience developing task objectives and building a team to achieve those objectives
* Experience and passion for working with international partners or equivalent experience in related collaborative and cultural skillsets.
* STEM related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 5 years of professional experience.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.
* Demonstrated leadership elements and collaboration across diverse and multi-disciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications: * Employ rapid prototyping and technical recommendations to inform sponsor and partner capability requirements and decisions.
* Knowledge and application of specific tools, methods, and practices of Digital Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Systems and Architecture Design.
* Knowledge of United States National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, and unified command Theater Campaign Plans.
* Experience in one or more of the following technical domain areas:
* Tactical data communications (e.g., Link 16, Link 22, MADL, UCI)
* Test and analysis
* Verification and validation
* Remote sensing
* Space situational awareness/space control
* Cyber security
* Modeling and simulation
* Experience in one or more of the following mission areas:
