Job Description:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced bench jeweler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for using a variety of specialized tools and techniques to set precious stones, including diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, into jewelry designs. This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional concentration and focus, and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

· Using special tools and techniques to:

1. Set precious stones

2. Repair and restore jewelry

3. Polish precious metals

4. Laser

5. Size

· Assemble chains, charms, body jewerly

· Examine jewelry pieces to determine type and size of stones needed

· Examine jewelry for quality control issues

· Ensure finished product adheres to MKLG standards

· Special/ Custom jewelry

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work on a team

• Previous experience with jewelry setting and repair

• Proven ability to work with precious metals, sterling silver, and gold

• Familiarity with design layout software and CAD/CAM systems

• Knowledge of diamond grading systems

• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and precision

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• High attention to detail in order to work with small stones and delicate parts

• Good customer service skills to effectively meet customer needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
