This will be a support role working alongside the material coordinators, who provide material management and purchasing support to Electric Transmission and Substation Construction Projects. Provides materials management and logistical coordination for delivery projects and operations. Manages goods receipt operations including SAP transactions, paperwork request management, and associated maintenance. Utilizes SAP, MS Access, MS Excel, and other data processing tools to analyze and report on inventory, supplier orders, schedule exceptions, and supporting system data as needed. Provides material exception and return support for construction and engineering groups. Assists in planning and implementation of sourcing initiatives. Develops and maintains material supplier and service networks. Enters supplier issue reports and assists in resolving supply chain, supplier, and logistical issues. Collaborates with internal and external groups daily, including but not limited: to engineering, supply chain, sourcing, project management, construction, and suppliers.

Pay: $40,000-$50,000

Tues/Wed/Thurs- On-Site
Mon/Fri- Remote
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, processing, and maintenance of project material receipt paperwork.
- Analyzing material usage patterns for project and inventory items
- Tracking open orders for problematic suppliers and distributing exceptions
- Creating material reservations, requisitions, and pick requests
- Creating and distributing reports for bills of materials, material reservations, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, pick requests, and stored project items
- Bill of Material processing
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- 2-4 years related experience
- Basic knowledge of materials management, procurement processes, and inventory control.
- Basic knowledge of client groups, commodities, and specialties.
- Basic knowledge of environmental, government, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Basic knowledge of inventory analysis techniques.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse layout.
- Working knowledge of supplier relations, priority management, and tactical planning.
- Good oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Basic forecasting and trend analysis skills.
- Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
- Value and cost analysis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to process information quickly and accurately.
- Ability to walk, stoop, and bend, to perform walkdowns and to search for materials.
- Good color vision to identify materials.
- Good hearing for telephone communications.
Education and Certifications/Licensures required:
- High School Diploma Required
- Associates Degree and Bachelors Degree preferred
- Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and 2-4 years demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu
