Support the development of reliability-based maintenance strategy, based on preventative, predictive, and condition monitoring maintenance. Improve maintenance performance by continually striving to reduce downtime through proactive planning.
About the Job
Review work orders for completion and enter completed work orders into the Maintenance computer system (Enterprise Asset Management; EAM).
Update work order status.
Lead daily/weekly scheduling meeting with Production and Maintenance to ensure that maintenance work is scheduled in a timely fashion.
Publish and monitor weekly schedule.
Update, confirm and distribute weekly callout schedules for Peerless Maintenance and Mine Mobile Mechanics
Identify and prepare Maintenance management reports, as needed.
Monitor all business unit KPI’s.
Support operational excellence process improvement teams through active involvement and engagement. Create corrective work orders (CPM work orders – Mine Supervisors generally do this) as needed.
Various data entry and reporting for business unit needs; for example, labor entry and tracking, safety metrics, etc.
Complete monthly Maintenance Scorecard
Assist, as needed, during Maintenance Planner absence.
Assist in developing and posting weekly work schedules. (Send Mine Mobile Service Weekly Schedule to Mine Dept. Maerz and PR)
Miscellaneous office duties, including maintaining and ordering office supplies.
Coordinate with other Business Units for personnel, material, and asset scheduling, tracking, and allocation.
Requisitioning support, if needed.
WFM time entry support, if needed.
Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education a plus.
Experience: One to two years’ experience in administrative/clerical tasks is preferred.
Knowledge: General knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management System is preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational and effective communication skills. Basic computer skills with operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn other company-specific software systems.
Abilities: Must have the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Ability to understand the process flow.
