Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. The RN will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for women's health and a desire to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and efficient care to laboring mothers, including monitoring fetal heart rate, administering medications, and assisting with delivery
- Educate patients and families about the childbirth process and provide emotional support
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with unit leadership to ensure quality patient care and safety
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications:
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Strong clinical skills, including fetal monitoring, interpretation of EKGs, and administration of medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
