Job Description
MMB Contractors Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to be the lead on ground up multifamily construction projects ranging from $15,000,000 - $20,000,000 in project value. Projects will generally be concrete or steel construction up to 15 stories. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process from foundation to finish. They will oversee coordinating all subcontractors and ensuring that projects remain on schedule. They will be responsible for opening the site every morning and securing the site every night after all workers have left. They will be responsible for all documentation, including daily logs, change order management, project status meetings, progress photos, compiling invoices and lien waivers for monthly draws, and inspection reports. Additionally, they will control the financial management of the project by ensuring material ordering and labor hours bring the maximum value to MMB Contractors Inc.
Experience
5 years of project management or site superintendent experience in ground up construction, with a focus on the structural and building envelope elements of ground up construction. Candidate should have a clear portfolio of completed projects in the multifamily sector, demonstrating the ability to produce a quality project on time and on budget. Ideally working in the City of Philadelphia with familiarity in local codes, ordinances, laws and regulations. Should be comfortable with working in tight field conditions as most projects will be in a dense urban environment. Project Manager should be comfortable with working with various labor types whether, union, open-shop or blended.

Skills / Competencies
Preferred to have experience with Procore, excel and Microsoft office.
Ability to read plans and specifications
Ability to modify drawings for as-builts with auto cad preferred but not required
General competency in project budgeting and financial management
Strong interpersonal skills to ensure a smooth on-site culture.
Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in finding solutions
Strong sense of organization and detail orientation
