MMI Engineered Solutions is currently seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our Team! Our ideal candidate will have at Bachelor's Degree in Business; or 2 or 4-year degree in a field such as supply chain management or business management preferred.

The Inventory Analyst is tasked with ensuring MMI purchases enough goods and materials to satisfy production need, but not too much to cause a financial burden. To accomplish this tasks they must discuss their goals with management, they must also work with buyers and scheduling to determine what will be needed to ensure the company attains its inventory goals.
The essential duties of this position include;
- Review daily negative inventory and determine the approach, reconcile and document to ensure training needed to eliminate root cause is created
- Monitor and reconcile daily production reporting to dispositions to real-time. Identify errors and make appropriate IQMS adjustments.
- Oversee the company inventory in virtual and physical locations within and outside of MMI
- Analyze the inventory and work with purchasing and master scheduling to determine approaches of how to increase inventory turns
- Review BOM's for accuracy at time of PPAP and do random BOM audits during the month. Work cross functionally to keep all BOMs and parts accurate to ensure on time production.
- Establish a formal cycle counting program and oversee the physical inventories as needed
- Establish practices to monitor the identification of potential slow moving and obsolete inventory
- Establish a formal process for reviewing master data accuracy. Ensure that the configuration and master data is setup correctly in IQMS
- Assist with selected month-end procedures. Root-cause inventory variances and assist in the implementation of error proofing to improve the quality of the transactional reporting. Identify process improvement opportunities to improve process and system efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Strong speaking, writing, analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and make crucial decisions.
- Must have computer software background along with knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
- 2 or4-year bachelor's degree in a field such as supply chain management or business management preferred.
- Production and Inventory Management Certificate from APICS would be a plus.
- Must attend MMI Forklift training and obtain a certification by passing both the written and driving exams.
