Client Accounts Coordinator

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, a leader in offering treatment programs to those battling addiction, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill our opening for a Clients Account Coordinator.

Position Summary

Our organization is in search of a Clients Account Coordinator to receive client funds, deposit forms, and withdrawal forms from designated program representatives, provide cash for client requests and update client records in the financial accounts program of the client database. Receive deposit verification forms from charge staff who receive client funds, and contact program representatives to request deposits to be brought to Accounting. Monitor outstanding withdrawal forms to ensure that originals signed by clients receiving cash are all returned to Accounting.

• Monitor cash in the safe and prepare bank deposits for cash in excess of current needs, or request cash withdrawals from bank account to ensure sufficient cash. Balance cash in safe and bank with the total balance shown in the client database program. Reconcile any differences.
• Make payments to discharged clients (or coordinate with Accounts Payable to issue a check) for the full amount of the client’s account balance. Make entries into clients’ record to zero out account balances.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to successfully complete background check process.
• Highest integrity in the handling of financial matters.
  • Ability to learn and successfully complete assigned bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
  • Computer skills including typing, 10-key, spreadsheets and general familiarity with database programs.
  • Ability to learn various software programs to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Ability to remain on task and accurately follow-through projects to their completion.
  • Maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance with co-workers and the public.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this organization’s vehicle insurance carrier.
