Summary The Axe Manager provides leadership and direction to the Axe Masters to ensure that all team members are guest-focused, team-focused, safety-focused, and contributing to enhancing the overall Axe Throwing guest experience within Emagine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify recruitment targets who would fit in well as an Axe Master, including the understanding of the need for safety, service, and fun.
- Assist in developing and training of the Axe Master Team through the outline of the responsibilities of an Axe Master.
- Facilitate ongoing trainings with the Axe Masters to properly prepare employees for all essential duties and responsibilities.
- Oversees and deploys the scheduling of Axe Masters to ensure the appropriate staffing levels are occurring to provide optimum guest service.
- Oversees all day to day operations to ensure the facility is ready to operate every day. Including a clean facility, good condition of equipment, and working technology.
- Manages the closing process with balancing drawers and verifying nightly deposits to aid in nightly closing procedures.
- Lead by example and act as the model Axe Master.
- Continuously learn about new Axe Throwing rules, techniques, games, and safety measures.
- Ensures the customer experience is maintained at an extremely high level.
- Answer phones in a professional manner.
- Booking new clients; walk-ins, reservations and leagues.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Two to three years of management experience in a guest service setting; theater or retail environment preferred. Axe Throwing experience preferred, not required.
