Maintenance Technician
Full Time Position – Nokomis FL.
We have an opening for a full-time maintenance technician in our Mobile Home Park. This position is rewarding and consistent. We are looking to grow and retain with the right candidate. The hours are 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday, with a paid lunch break. Pay is dependent on experience, starting at 15.00 an hour.
Our maintenance technicians perform various duties that ensure the Community is a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for not only our Residents but for the Staff as well.
Responsibilities
- Complete a dedicated morning routine
- Basic maintenance and repairs to buildings and facilities
- Landscaping as needed
- Work orders to be completed in a timely fashion
- Janitorial duties as needed
- Organization skills and ability to maintain logs
- Yard waste clean up and garbage cleanup as needed
- On call for emergencies, with possible overtime required
- Report any issues seen on site to Property Manager
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend and lift at least 50 pounds
- Willing and able to work in seasonal weather conditions while outside
- Knows proper use of power and hand tools
- Able to pass a background check
