Salary Range
$50,000
Purpose:
To provide onsite Human Resources support for Mobis Toledo Plant. Acts as a liaison between plant personnel and the corporate Human Resources department in such functions as timekeeping, personnel issues, and problem resolutions.
Duties:
· Acts as a liaison between facility and the corporate Human Resources department with regard to time reporting, personnel questions, complaints, issues, etc.
· Administers company policies and procedures, aids in ensuring compliance.
· Maintains up-to-date personnel, medical and termination files.
· Performs the hiring and termination of employees and contract help.
· Places personnel orders with temporary staffing agencies and interfaces with the agencies concerning their employees.
· Examines time reports, makes changes and/or corrections via the time & attendance system.
· Distributes paychecks to employees.
· Processes changes of address, benefit changes, new hire paperwork, etc.
· Distributes employee badges for time reporting and building access.
· Maintains and updates Guardian security system. Activates new employees, modifies current access accounts, deactivates terminated employees, creates new access rules, etc.
· Generates, compiles, and/or collects report data through time & attendance and payroll systems.
· Administers the employee appraisal program at the plant level.
· Answers employee human resources-related questions and assists in problem solving.
· Interfaces with supervisory employees for problem resolution and routine reporting functions.
· Posts internal and external job openings as needed.
· Assists in planning and organizing the annual company picnic and other special events.
· Represents company at public events.
· Performs miscellaneous clerical functions for the Human Resources department, including memo writing and filing.
· Performs special assignments as delegated.
Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:
Four year college degree in a Human Resources or business-related field preferred. Prior experience in human resources, benefits, and payroll desired. Must be computer-literate with advanced experience in the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills required. Must be able to work well under pressure with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
