Summary
The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role will work for the MOBIS Alabama, LLC. Savannah Plant (MAL-SV) and MOBIS North America electrified powertrain LLC (MNAe).

MOBIS Alabama, LLC. Savannah Plant located in Bryan County, Georgia. MAL-SV is the abbreviation of MOBIS Alabama, LLC (Savannah Plant). MAL-SV is a Tier 1 supplier to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). The MAL-SV Savannah plant was established on October 7, 2022. MOBIS Savannah Plant is a three (3) shift manufacturing operation that assembles the four major modules (Front Chassis, Rear Chassis, Cockpit, Front End) for vehicles produced by HMGMA. Using components from domestic and overseas suppliers, MOBIS Savannah plant uses state of the art technology to produce the finished products for HMGMA in a just-in-time, just-in-sequence system. Using the cooperative effort of our Team Members, MOBIS Savannah plant can provide parts for over 1,300 vehicles a day.
About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC
MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly. To supply BSA and PE systems for three major hubs of HMG Group in North America: 1) Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), 2) Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA), and 3) KIA Auto-land Georgia (KaGA), MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC operates the BSA1 plant in Montgomery County, Alabama, and the BSA2 plant and PE system plant in Bryan County, Georgia are operated. MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC was established on October 7, 2022. Using the cooperative effort of our Team Members, MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC can provide parts for over 1,300 vehicles a day.
Essential Functions:(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
•Oversee and refine employee standards and procedures, using existing HR systems as well as improved or recommended processes
•Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and vacation
•Ensure compliance with national and local HR regulations by conducting investigations and maintaining records
•Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale building
•Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that fit with the overall business direction
•Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences, resolving employee grievances, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors
•Champion the onboarding process by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date, and provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall business vision
•Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human-resources policies and procedures
•Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration
•Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
•Handle confidential matters with discretion
•Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Basic Qualifications: (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field of study
•At least 10 years of HR Management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
•At least five years' experience in a large operation of 500 plus employees
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
•Working knowledge of all aspects of employment law including recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, new hire orientation, and initial training expectations.
•Proven ability to develop, deploy, and maintain legally compliant HR Systems.
•Proven ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations and job specific training.
•Proven ability to produce and administer legally compliant job performance improvement plan documents designed to change poor job performance.
•Ability to write and speak simply and clearly to ensure on-going legal compliance.
•Proven ability to exceed expectations with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
•Ability to write and administer legally compliant handbook policies and procedures.
Preferred Education & Experience:
•Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field of study
•Experience serving on a 401 (k) Fiduciary Committee and experience with 401 (k) audits
•Experience in negotiating with third party benefit consultants to ensure competitive pricing and plan designs
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Professional HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) or higher
Working Conditions: Office setting, some walking and standing within and between buildings
