Summary
This position supports the Logistics Team through maintaining department documentation, ensuring legal requirements are met, and developing risk management and safety programs to ensure safety. Project Management skills for Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Control & Closure task. .
Responsibilities

- Assure that all work is performed within specifications.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistic systems, imports, exports and customer issues.
- Collaborates with other departments to integrate Logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and production.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentations, customer service logs, training and safety records.
- Direct inbound logistics operations, such as transportation, warehouse activities, safety performance and logistics quality management.
- Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes.
- Maintain safety procedures including assisting with incident investigation, reviewing reports and advising corrective action.
- Ensure C-TPAT requirements are met at all locations within Logistics.
- Ensure all OSHA requirements are met regarding PIV.
- Ensure all processes and procedures regarding ANS’s are being followed
- Other tasks as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- 5-10 years of experience within the manufacturing/automotive industry (5 years Managerial Experience)
- PC literate, proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, AutoCad, Detailed Oriented,
- Problem resolution skills
