The CAD and Design Assistant will assist the Mod Scenes team with creating high quality scenic products in a fast-paced environment. As you excel in your role, we will help you to learn valuable skills including CNC operation, forklift operation, drafting, manufacturing, on site installation, and design.
The person in this role will be promoted to a position managing operations in the manufacturing department through hard work, incredible attention to detail, speed, and passion to serve our clients well.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Motivation
· Ability to lift 40 lbs on a regular basis
· Goal-Orientated
· Detailed
· No-experience is preferred
· However, if you do have experience, we are willing to invest time into training you how not to do it. We are committed to wowing our customers 100% of the time and to having fun in the workplace. (This is not normal and we don't want any negative vibes entering our company culture)
· A coach-able attitude and driven personality is far more important to us than having any previous experience
· Very high attention to detail
· A self-starter
· Have great attitude and a desire to learn
· Must be able to type
· Must be able to verbally communicate well
· Must be willing to pitch in anywhere, as needed, to ensure the highest level of service for our clients

FAQ:
· How much money can I make? As much as you are willing to work. We pay a fair base hourly rate with bonuses and raises based on productivity and attitude after the first 90 days.
· What would I be doing? Creating stock and custom products in our scenic shop for clients on tight timelines with super cool CNC machines! On occasion, you will probably be asked to serve in other areas such as order fulfillment, or cold calling.
