Greater Miami, Florida Area- Full Time, Contract – Onsite
Contract duration: 2 years
Modern Hydrogen has an immediate opening for a motivated Field Operations Technician in Miami, FL. As a Field Operations Technician, you will play an integral role in the installation, startup, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and inspections of our groundbreaking decarbonization pilot plants and other field equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our pilot and maintain a strong focus on safety throughout all operations.
You will be required to work onsite at our facility in the greater Miami, FL area and be on-call during nights and weekends. The contract duration is 2 years with full company benefits and W-2 employment.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes
Load and unload materials as needed
Pick up and process carbon, including driving a corporate vehicle between the pilot site and carbon transfer sites
Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to identify issues
Adhere to all safety policies, SOPs, and regulations
Accurately log and document equipment hours, maintenance, and materials
Coordinate with the Field Services Manager to ensure priorities are clear and assignments are completed in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
5 years of experience operating and maintaining relevant chemical process field equipment
Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Experience and professionalism in a customer-facing role
Safety first mindset and ability to follow safety protocols
Excellent written/verbal communicator; skilled team collaborator
Detail-oriented with ability to complete accurate documentation
Valid Florida driver's license with a clean record and the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license
Physical capability to work primarily outdoors in the weather, standing up to 80% of the time, able to bend/crouch, and lift >25 lbs.
Forklift certification
Trade school certification preferred
Consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws, the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test based on customer site requirements

Hourly pay range is $14.00 - $35.00/hr.
