Qualifications
- Qualified and licensed to practice as a registered nurse, without restrictions, in the State of Arizona
- Completed education required to obtain a license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona
- Provide evidence of current liability insurance at the time of hire
- Must have ACLS and BLS Certifications
- Have a clear understanding of patient monitoring, monitoring equipment, emergency equipment, medications, medication administration, medication complications, aseptic and sterile technique and universal precautions.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both with coworkers using medical terminology and with the patient using understandable layman’s terms.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform in accordance with all policies and procedures, applicable statutes and regulations, and the Clinic’s Compliance,
Infection Control, and Quality and Performance Improvement Programs.
- Review all material relevant to the patient’s care including material sent over from the referring physician and any information collected from the patient or support staff.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.
- Explain the patient’s condition, medication, and any procedure needed in a manner that is understandable to the patient.
- Efficiently schedule and document in the EMR.
- Administer medications in a safe and proper manner.
- Use radiation protection measures in accordance with Clinic protocols.
- Respond to emergency situations appropriately with competence and composure.
- Monitor and manage patient care before and after procedure, requiring a clear understanding of patient monitoring, monitoring equipment, emergency equipment, medications, medication administration, medication complications, aseptic and sterile technique and universal precautions.
- Recognize and react appropriately to life-threatening arrhythmias and other emergencies.
- Manage an airway for resuscitation and manage all available forms of oxygen delivery devices.
- Assist with intra-procedure duties as assigned.
- Maintain responsibility for safe work area by reporting to safety officer or designee observed or suspected safety violations, hazards, and policy/procedure noncompliance.
- Contribute to the progress and development of the Clinic’s Compliance, Infection Control, and Quality and Performance
Improvement Programs, as requested.
- Participate in continuing education and other learning experiences to stay abreast of new information in the healthcare field.
- Maintain BLS, ACLS, and all certifications and licensures as mandated by the governing nursing boards and Nurse Practice
Acts.
- Other duties as assigned, subject to applicable Rules and Regulations in the State of Texas.

Pay: $44,562.00 - $92,794.00 per year
