As the Manager of Canada Logistics Network at Moderna, you will oversee and drive the strategic and operational aspects of our logistics and distribution network across Canada. This critical leadership role involves enhancing the flow of mRNA therapies from production to patients, optimizing distribution operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your work will directly impact Moderna’s capability to deliver innovative therapies swiftly and efficiently to the Canadian market. Here's What You’ll Do: Your key responsibilities will be: Leading the operational and strategic aspects of logistics and distribution across Moderna’s Canadian network. Implementing end-to-end visibility and advanced distribution strategies to ensure timely delivery of products. Managing inventory, warehousing, transportation, and logistics services to optimize efficiency and compliance with global and regional standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with broader business goals. Driving continuous improvement in logistics processes, enhancing service levels, and reducing operational costs. Your responsibilities will also include: Upholding stringent compliance with Good Distribution Practices and other regulatory requirements. Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure quality service aligned with Moderna’s standards. Implementing sustainable practices in distribution to minimize environmental impact while maintaining product integrity. Conducting regular business reviews to monitor and enhance the performance of the logistics network. Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications) A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous. 3 - 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with significant experience in a leadership role overseeing distribution centers, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry. This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna’s site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work. Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications) Extensive knowledge of Canada regional logistics and distribution requirements, including regulatory and compliance standards. Proven track record of cold chain experience, managing logistics operations and driving improvements in a multinational environment. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills with a focus on delivering results in the Canadian logistics operations. In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain and distribution networks within Canada. Experience in managing and optimizing distribution center operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. Expertise in regional and global regulatory compliance, with a commitment to upholding Good Distribution Practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with in-ternal teams and external partners. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to managing logistics and distribution challenges.
