Reporting to the VP Finance -CMC and Quality and located in Norwood, MA, the FP&A Analyst will be a critical member of the Finance team as we support a growing commercial organization and development pipeline. In additional to core FP&A activities, this position will partner with the cost accounting team and organizational business leaders on month-end close activities, internal management planning and reporting, as well as variance and ad-hoc analysis.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Assist the FP&A team members with routine deliverables, supporting various departments in CMC finance including but not limited to:
Preparation of monthly / quarterly financial deliverables as needed, including reporting and data analytics for cost centers
Month-end close support including month-end close accruals, troubleshooting or following-up with accounting and/or the functional stakeholders
Support data validation and perform ad-hoc reconciliations
Support annual budget/forecast updates for headcount, operating expenses and capital
Aid in creating consistency in templates and reporting across CMC Finance
Ad-hoc analyses that support business decision making
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
BA/BS in accounting or finance required
2 years of FP&A experience; life sciences industry experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; willingness to “roll-up the sleeves”
Positive, can do attitude
Willingness to be flexible and agile
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; highly proficient in Excel based modeling
Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
Experience with tier 1 ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and planning and reporting tools preferred
