Who We Are
You are the heart, mind, and soul of the hotel from 11pm – 7am. Your most important task will be to perform the close of day functions for your hotel. You’ll account for the hotel’s daily activity by organizing and verifying information. If you see something that doesn’t make sense, you’ll correct it. You’ll post information to accounts and run/distribute daily reports. You’ll be expected to answer any incoming calls in full hospitality mode: you may be asked to make a reservation, take care of a guest request, or, at times, handle an emergency situation. You are the go-to person overnight.
The day shift and the GM are relying on you to tell them what went on overnight, so your ability to convey important information to is crucial. You’re the face of the hotel during your shift, so we want to you act professionally at all times.
You think on your feet, have a strong sense of hospitality, and an eye for detail. You have some accounting or bookkeeping experience. Your tasks should be completed efficiently and accurately. You’ll also need some discipline to stay focused, even when there’s little going on. Remember-no matter what anyone tells you, it’s not okay to grab a quick nap.
