Generates daily operational plans to ensure product if offloaded, stowed and received in a timely fashion. Ensures goals within plan are met. Audits locations for accuracy to improve inventory health within building.

WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Executes on Daily Plan provided by General Manager
- Quickly reports on any roadblocks or issues
- Responsible for reporting of all team attendance issues (late arrivals or absences)
- Communicates closely with Team Lead to ensure workflow is appropriate and moving along in a manner to execute on the daily plan
- Corrects minor issues (piece count discrepancies on orders or container discrepancies)
- Enforces needs of Team Lead by immediately acting on any subordination from an employee
- Oversees creation and distribution of required paperwork for team (batches, count sheets, stow sheets)
- Communicates with Team Lead regarding progress against the plan of the day
- Assist Team Lead in holding a high standard for the Team- keeping people on task, accurate work, etc
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of their work area
- Orders supplies as needed for their team (pallets, pallet wrap, etc.)
- Communicates of any equipment needs to General Manager immediately
- Serves as a witness to delivery of disciplinary action
THE EXPERIENCE OF A STRONG CANDIDATE:
- Minimum of two years experience in a Lead or Supervisor role with a minimum of 5 reports
- Ability to regularly lift upwards of 75 lbs
- Comfortable with Outlook and Internet Browsers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable holding Team members accountable and delivering discipline as necessary
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work in an ambiguous environment and pivoting quickly when unexpected changes occur to the plan
