About the role:
- Implement and drive the core financial processes and reporting for the business
- Manage financial and regulatory compliances for India entity including direct and indirect taxes
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Carrying out monthly variance analysis and identify major drivers impacting business
- Liaising with internal and statutory auditors and ensuring timely completion
- Ensuring intercompany transactions are booked as per transfer pricing agreements and adhering to relevant compliances
- Drive efficiency related projects to ensure optimum utilization of resources
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Inclination towards questioning and improving existing processes
- Ability to prioritize - we are consistently working on multiple projects at any given time, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment
- Individual must be able to operate independently and must have a go getter attitude
- Experience in NetSuite or any other Oracle product is preferable but not mandatory
- Chartered Accountant with 5 years of post qualification experience
