We are looking to hire a people-focused, customer service driven, craft beer-loving & dedicated Assistant General Manager for the Moerlein Lager House in the Banks in downtown Cincinnati. We are looking for a coach, a mentor and someone who is driven to succeed and grow. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of a busy bar and restaurant. They will be responsible for maintaining high standards of work from their employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.
Qualifications
High school or equivalent (Preferred) plus 4-5 years of senior management experience as an Assistant or General Manager. Bi-lingual would be a plus.

About You
· Your position requires you to spend over 90% of every shift on the floor with your team, in addition to traditional job duties.
· Experience in successfully running an extremely high-volume all-day food and beverage outlet.
· 100% ability to manage every aspect of a high-volume flagship operation (finance, ordering, coaching, marketing, HR operations, etc.). We are looking for growth and financial success is imperative!
· You are expected to be working when the business volume requires your presence – this means that on average you will be working 50 hours a week – with Nights, Weekends and Holidays required.
· We are heavily influenced by the events in our area and Summer is our peak season!

· Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of federal, state and local laws and responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and
- Maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
- Ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company
- Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality

Pay is $60,000 - $70,000 plus bonus based upon experience
