Summary
Department: Department of Satellite and Community Oncology
Practice Scope: Academic ambulatory practice at the Moffitt at International Plaza and inpatient consulting service at Tampa Bay hospital(s), primary location at Tampa General Hospital. Flexibility to cover other locations within the Tampa Bay Area if needed.
Minimum Requirements: Medical degree or foreign equivalent, plus completion of residency training program in Internal Medicine and fellowship training program in Hematology/Oncology, Board eligible or Board certified in Hematology/Oncology, Florida medical license, and qualified to obtain hospital privileges.
Practices medicine, hematology and medical oncology within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education.
