What are the responsibilities and job description for the LABOR & PRODUCTIVITY SUPERVISOR position at Mohegan Sun?
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Supervises and trains the staff in the daily operation of the Labor & Productivity Department, specifically how to correctly schedule and review time according to policies and procedures
- Ensures accurate schedules and time for all operating departments
- Reviews discrepancies prior to payroll submission
- Collects and researches data for analysis, productivity and special projects
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve payroll issues and ensures accurate payments for all employees
- Reviews toke allocations for all operating departments to ensure accuracy
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains confidentiality of all employee and company information
- Assists in all end user system testing related to software changes and upgrades
- Assists in the set up and execution of employee bid process within the scheduling system for all necessary departments
- Maintains SharePoint site for payroll communication
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Knowledge of Infinium
- Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions
- Knowledge of department policies and procedures
- Understanding of the Federal Tipped Employee Participation Agreement (TEPA)
- Experience with Cognos 10 and SharePoint
- Knowledge of the Mohegan Sun Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment
Training Requirements:
- Must complete the Core Supervisor Training course
- Knowledge of Mohegan Sun’s corporate and department policies and procedure
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Office work environment
- Must be able to sit in front of a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
