What are the responsibilities and job description for the Frontend Engineer position at Mojo?
As a member of the engineering team, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in key decisions that will shape our product and system design as a frontend engineer. Be prepared (and excited!) to wear multiple hats and learn new things as we all work together to design, build, and launch new products.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineering leadership and product teams to architect a brand new product and platform
- Design and build new web applications, focused on reliability and extensibility
- Write and review testable, scaleable code
- Collaborate with product, data, design, and other engineers to understand business requirements and build a great experience for our customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent practical experience
- 6 years development experience with JavaScript
- Experience building and scaling frontend web applications using modern JS frameworks like React
- Experience working in TypeScript, Redux
- Familiarity with containerization, and CI/CD deployment processes
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Passion for delivering a strong end user experience
