Job Summary:
As a Cable Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team and provides excellent earning potential.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure.
- Conduct maintenance on existing cabling systems.
- Test newly installed or relocated cables following company specifications.
- Identify and remove redundant cabling.
- Install televisions, routers, and internet technology devices.
- Troubleshoot issues within the cable network.
- Set up cable support structures like j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
- Repair cable poles and towers.
- Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled in compliance with safety regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork including timesheets, checklists, vehicle inspection reports, and service orders.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid driver's license and social security card/number.
- Availability of a white minivan/pick-up truck or SUV (rental options available).
- Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
